Penerapan Periodisasi Latihan Undulating Terhadap Peningkatan Daya Tahan Otot

Untuk meningkatkan aspek kondisi fisik atlet memerlukan periodisasi yang
tepat. Selain itu proses latihan dengan waktu pertandingan yang tersedia
sebentar, pelatihan pada tataran atlet elit biasanya terbentur dengan waktu
yang tersedia untuk latihan dan waktu pertandingan, oleh karena itu perlu
model atau rekayasa latihan supaya dengan waktu yang tersedia, sedikit
proses pelatihan bisa bermanfaat dan bermakna. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu
untuk mengetahui dampak dari penerapan periodisasi latihan undulating
terhadap peningkatan daya tahan otot dan power endurance. Metode
penelitian adalah eksperimen, dengan desain yang digunakan yaitu one group
pretest-posttest, dan sampelnya 12 orang. Insrtumen yang digunakan untuk
daya tahan otot adalah wall sit, dan untuk power endurance adalah hardle
jump. Untuk analisis data menggunakan paried sampel t-test. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan daya tahan otot dan power endurance
setelah diberi program latihan kekuatan dengan periodisasi undulating
(bergelombang). Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil pengolahan data yang
menunjukkan nilai signifikansimuscle endurance dan poer endurance 0,00 <
0,05. Kesimpulannya adalah penerapan program latihan dengan periodisasi
undulating (bergelombang) memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap
peningkatan daya tahan otot dan power endurance.
