PEMBELAJARAN IPS DI PAUD KELOMPOK BERMAIN AL-FAWWAZ KOTA TASIKMALAYA

Abstract
: The formation of character in a person needs to be trained as early as possible through the PAUD level. Learning in early childhood so that they have good character and are in accordance with applicable norms, namely by implementing social studies learning at the early childhood education level. However, there are still some children who have poor social attitudes in the school, family, and community environment, due to bad character cultivation. The purpose of this study was to find out how important social studies learning can be implemented in early childhood education, to find out how far children understand and implement the values contained in social studies learning. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation which were conducted at Kober Al-Fawwaz, Tasikmalaya City. The research subjects were the teacher and all students in grades A and B. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the social studies learning process taught to early childhood places more emphasis on forming character values in the form of habituation which the teacher exemplifies for children through socializing and behaving well. and right. For example, with the method of playing while instilling in children respect and respect for everyone, greeting those who are older than them, being taught to behave and speak politely, being tidy by always taking care of the environment around the child.
