EFEKTIVITAS KEPEMIMPINAN DI PONDOK PESANTREN
Abstract
making, and conflict management aspects in pondok pesantren management. Research aims are to obtaining description and comprehensive understanding about delegation of authority, decision making, and conflict management aspects in pondok pesantren management; and getting an effective leadership formulation model in pondok pesantren. Qualitative approach was used in this study. Interview, observation, and documentation were used as data collection tools. Interactive model of data analysis was employed to analyze the data in this study with consist of three activities which are data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The reliability of result were obtained with four criteria are: credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results of study showed that leadership implementation which emphasizing on delegation of authority, decision making, and conflict management aspects in pesantren Kempek as representation of traditional/salaf pesantren, pesantren Cipasung as semi-modern/trantitional pesantren, and pesantren Darussalam as modern pesantren was implement ineffective. Based on this study findings, the recomendation are: to obtaining an effective leadership, delegation of authority process must be a well structurally system by clearity regulation; decision making process must be enclose depends on kyai (individual figure) and done by deliberation (musyawarah) with collectivelly leadership. Pesantren as traditional organisation must be openned as open organisation and accessable by broad community, so that they able to communicate and contribute positive inputs for educational/learning process development in the pesantren systems.
