Abstract


Abstract: This study is motivated by the low learning outcomes of student multiplication seen from the number of students who still have not achieved the value of KKM The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the application of learning media of number cards to improve the learning of multiplication of original numbers and to describe the increase of learning outcomes of students of class III school basic. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) method using the Kemmis and Taggart models. This study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, execution, observation, and reflection. This research was carried out in class 3B in one of the elementary schools in Astana Anyar sub-district where the number of students was 3I. After the observation was carried out during the two cycles, there was an increase in the multiplication learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. This is evident from the improved learning process and the increasing student learning outcomes. The average learning outcomes of multiplication in cycle I was 62, and in cycle II the average learning outcomes of student multiplication increased to 87.42. The conclusions of this study are, the learning outcomes of the original number multiplication of third grade students increased after the learning was conducted using number card learning media.
