Abstract: This research is based on how low students’ ability to solve mathematical problems on fourth grade students in a elementary school in Bandung. Low ability to solve problems is caused by learning methods given by the teachers does not involve students actively to solve the questions of mathematics. The aim of this research is to investigate the implementation of TAI model to improve students’ mathematical problem solving skill on fourth grade students in a elementary school in Bandung. The method used in this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) model designed by Kemmis and Mc.Taggart, which has been held in 2 cycles. The subject of this research were 24 fifth grade students in a elementary school in Bandung. Data collection technique used in this resarch were observation, test, and documentation study. Qualitative data were processing through procedures data reduction, data analysis, and concluding. While in this research the quantitative data were processing through statistics analysis result of the score, average score, the percentage of complition in mathematical problem solving skill. Thus, the result of this reaserch is the implementation of TAI model has been could improve mathematical problem solving skill on fourth grade students in a elementary school in Bandung.
