Penerapan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Group Investigation untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Kerja Sama Siswa SD

Abstract


This class action research was motivated by the low level of cooperation skills of Grade IV SDN SKJ BDG students. This is caused by the application of learning that does not provide an opportunity for the development of cooperative skills. This study aims to describe the application of Group Investigation (GI) cooperative learning to improve the cooperation skills of Grade IV Elementary School students. The research method used is the classroom action research method of the Kemmis and Taggart models. The action research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were the fourth grade students of SDN SKJ BDG as many as 25 people including 11 male students and 14 female students. This research technique is observation and the research instrument used is a guideline for observing cooperative skills. The results of the classroom action research showed that the cooperation skills of students in class IV increased in cycle I by 52% and increased in cycle II to 96%. The conclusion from this classroom action research is that the application of cooperative learning type group investigation (GI) can improve the cooperation skills of fourth grade students of SDN SKJ BDG.
