RANCANGAN PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS METODE MATEMATIKA NALARIA REALISTIK (MNR) UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


: This study aims to describe the form of learning design by applying the teaching steps of Realistic Reasoning Mathematics (MNR) method in improving mathematical problem solving abilities of fourth grade elementary school students. This research is motivated by the low mathematical problem solving ability of fourth grade elementary school students. The subject of this research is the developed Learning Design. The research method used is the Delphi method with a qualitative approach. Data collection is done by verifying through distributing questionnairesto experts. Verification activities are carried out in 2 cycles until an expert agreement is reached. Based on the findings, the learning steps consist of 3 activities, namely preliminary activities, core activities and closing activities. Each activity contains steps for teaching the MNR method. The preliminary activities consist of preparing studentsto learn, explaining learning objectives, and giving real problems. In the core activities the teaching steps of the MNR method applied are (1) Giving real problems, (2) Concept understanding, (3) Reasoning and communication, and (4) Concept solving. While the closing activity consists of mathematical exploration and application in life.
