PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA POP-UP BOOK PADA PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA DI KELAS III SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


This development research is carried out because at the learning process the teacher only relies on help to provide the medium of learning while the learning media can be designed from various resources in various forms to meet the need and characteristics of the taught materials that will be presented. Monotone learning without creativity in the media hinders the student's learning motivation. The learning media was developed using the design and development method (application d) with addie research model developed by branch (in suryani, etc. 2018), through the five steps of analysis (analysis), design (design), development (development), implementation (application), and evaluation (analysis). Datacollection instruments are used to obtain data, that is, angket and action tests. Research has shown that, 1) material aspects achieve a validation of 93.33% with a "incredibly worthy" assessment category, media aspects achieve 98% with a "very worthy" assessment category and 97,33% with a "very worthy" assessment category by learning practitioners. Then it may be stated that a pop-up book medium of learning is made perfectly worthy of being a medium of learning. The results of the media student's angular motivational analysis fall under the category of effective use before using pop-up book get a hit of 57.72% with the "enough" category and after using the pop-up book get 81.84% with the "very high" category. The results of the trial calculations revealed a 24.12% increase in motivation. Thus, the use of pop-up books on thematic learning can promote the study of students in class iii of elementary school.
