Kompensai dan Komitmen Kerja Guru Honorer
Abstract
Komitmen guru terhadap profesinya memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam membentuk kualitas dan keberhasilan sistem pendidikan. Guru yang memiliki komitmen tinggi cenderung menunjukkan dedikasi yang kuat terhadap tugas dan tanggung jawab mereka sebagai pendidik. Artikel ini membahas hasil penelitian yang ditujukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi terhadap komitmen guru. Dengan mengadopsi pendekatan kuantitatif, data diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket kepada guru-guru honorer. Hasil analisis statistik deskirptif menunjukan bahwa sistem kompensasi yang diterima para guru diyakini kurang efektif, dan komitmen kerja merekapun berada pada kategori tingkat sedang. Analisis lebih lanjut dengan statistik inferensial menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dan poisitif dari kompensasi terhadap komitmen kerja mereka. Hasil penelitian ini semakin mempertegas betapa pentingnya sistem kompensasi bagi para guru honorer untuk diperhatikan karena memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap komitmen kerja mereka. Oleh karena itu, pemerintah dan juga sekolah harus memperbaiki sistem kompensasi para guru honorer, sehingga komitmen kerja mereka dapat terus ditingkatkan. Langkah ini melibatkan peningkatan transparansi dalam kebijakan pemberian kompensasi dan penjaminan bahwa kompensasi yang diterima oleh mereka sesuai dengan tingkat beban kerja yang mereka laksanakan di sekolah.
