Pelatihan Tari Kreasi Anak “Terbang Barong” di IGRA Kabupaten Blitar

Abstract


Kinesthetic ability and cognitive development are very important for children, one of which is the ability to dance. The background of this training is to add insight into children's creation dance for teachers in the Blitar district. The method used is a choreographic approach through direct demonstration or hands-on practice. This dance training aims to assist teachers in developing knowledge and adding children's material that can then be taught by students as dance material in the classroom. This training was held at Pendopo Hand Astasih, Srengat District, Blitar Regency with the target of 50 RA teachers throughout Blitar Regency who are members of the Roudlotul Athfal Teachers Association. The methods used in the training of children's creation dance ‘Terbang Barong’ are exposure, demonstration and direct practice. Training stages are divided into 3 stages, namely: (1) preparation stage, (2) implementation stage, (3) evaluation stage. From the results of the training, it can be concluded that the children's dance entitled ‘Terbang Barong’ is suitable for teachers to use as dance learning material in class to increase children's knowledge in the field of cultural arts and train children's cognitive and kinesthetic intelligence.
