Author Guidelines

Journal of Sustainable Development Education and Research (JSDER) is the scholarly international journal.
It provides a peer-reviewed forum for the publication of thought articles, expert comment and analysis on, applied research, case studies, and comparative studies on the key issues surrounding the sustainability education.

Prospective authors must adhere to the following guidelines:
(1) Article length is no more than 6000 (six thousand) words, including references and appendices;
(2) Abstract and its keywords length is no more than 250 words,
(3) Article may be written by three persons maximum;
(4) Attach a bio mentioning author’s current profession, and e-mail addresses.

The article should follow the outline:

  • Title (brief, clear, and interesting)
  • Name of author (with university/institution attachment and e-mail address)
  • Abstract and Keywords
  • Introduction
  • Method
  • Results/Findings and Discussion
  • Conclusion (including the recommendation)
  • References (contains literature cited in the text)

    The article should apply APA Style writing 

  • Information on the article’s possible publication will also be sent via e-mail.
    Published articles are free for online version

    Articles in the Journal of Sustainable Development Education and Research do not necessarily representthe views of the Editor or the Editorial Committee.
    The Editor is responsible for the final selection of the     content of Journal of Sustainable Development Education and Research and reserves the right to reject any material deemed inappropriate for publication.
    Responsibility for opinions expressed and for the accuracy of facts published articles in the Journal of Sustainable Development Education and Research rests solely with the individual authors.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
