Abstract

Abstract: Now the implementation of teaching and learning process in the class has not been oriented to optimize the process skills. Learning is still teacher centered and has not emphasized on activities that can train thinking skills, work, and be scientific as a driver of the development of student process skills. this certainly impacts on the low of students process skills that has been proven based on the measurement results in the pre-cycle in fourth graders. Percentage of students process skilss achievement of 50% and still on the category need guidance. As an effort to solve the problem, the researcher apply TANDUR model. The research method used is Classroom Action Research adapted from Kemmis & Mc. Taggart research model which is implemented in three cycles. This research was conducted in fourth grade B on one public elementary school in Coblong Bandung with 36 research participants consisting of 20 female students and 16 male students. The result of the research showed that the process skills students of fourth grade B increased from cycle I with the percentage of achievement 64% (need guidance) to 81% (enough) in cycle II, and increased again in cycle III to 90% (good). Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of TANDUR model can improve the process skills of fourth grade students in elementary school.
