PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KERJA SAMA SISWA KELAS III SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


Abstract: The research is motivated by the low ability of student cooperation. The aim of the study were to: (1) describe the application of cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Togehther to increase the ability of cooperation of third grade students of elementary school, and (2) to describe the improvement of students' cooperation ability after applied the cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Together. The research participants are third grade students of one elementary school in Bandung. The type of this research is PTK through 3 cycles with qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The design of this research used Kemmis and Taggart design consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instrument used in this research is the observation sheet of student cooperation and observation sheet applying cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Together. The result of this observation shows that the average percentage of the students' ability in the first cycle is 61.35%, the second cycle has increased to 75.10%, the third cycle is 90.14%. From the research that has been done can be drawn conclusion that the application of cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Together can improve students' cooperative skills.
