PENERAPAN MODEL GROUP INVESTIGATION UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V SD

Abstract


This research is motivated by the low learning activities of fifth grade elementary school students. The emergence of these problems is caused by learning activities that are still dominated by teachers so that learning is less varied and does not directly involve students. This study aims to describe the application of the Cooperative Learning Model type of Group Investigation to improve student learning activities in the fifth grade of elementary school. This study used the classroom action research method model Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The study was conducted in one of the elementary schools in Bandung from April to May 2019. The study participants were 23 students of fifth grade elementary school. Data is collected through observation and tests. Qualitative data is processed through data reduction steps, data presentation and conclusion drawing, while quantitative data is processed using average and percentage descriptive statistics. The results showed that the application of the cooperative learning model type Group Investigation can improve the learning activities of elementary school students.
