RANCANGAN LEMBAR KERJA PESERTA DIDIK (LKPD) BERBASIS PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP IPA KELAS V DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


The background of this research is the low fifth-grade elementary school students' comprehension of natural science concepts. It occurs because the learning activity is still conventional, learning source used is only from textbooks, and teachers have not yet made and developed students worksheet which is suitable for students' need; thus, students feel bored when participating in learning activity. One of the solutions to optimize the students' comprehension of natural science concepts is by designing students worksheet based on scientific approach for the influence of heat on objects’ form material. The aims of this study are to describe the design of students' worksheet based on scientific approach to improve the comprehension of fifth grade's natural science concepts in Elementary School and to represent the students worksheet's feasibility. This study applied Design and Development (D&D) method according to Peffers et al. The findings of this study present that the validation result received the assessment of 88% from the material's experts regarding the students worksheet's feasibility. Meanwhile, the validation result received the assessment of 100% from teacher as user review regarding the students worksheet's feasibility. Therefore, it can be concluded that students worksheet based on scientific approach is feasible to use to improve the comprehension of fifth grade's natural science concepts in Elementary School.
