HUBUNGAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV DI SDN 2 CL
Abstract
The title of this research is "The Relationship of Reading Comprehension Ability with Fourth Grade Students' Learning Outcomes at SDN 2 CL". The purpose of thisstudy wasto determine whether or not reading comprehension skills and fourth-grade students' learning outcomes at SDN 2 CL are related. This research was conducted because it saw the students' reading comprehension ability varied. Some people have high, moderate reading abilities and some have low reading comprehension skills. In this case, there are indications of similarities between students' learning results in science, social studies, and PPKn topics and their reading comprehension skills. When the reading comprehension ability is high, the learning outcomes will also be high. To prove that, a research is needed. The research method used in this research is quantitative, descriptive research with correlational research type, the variables used in this research are reading comprehension ability and learning outcomes. The subjects of thisstudy were fourth grade students of SDN 2 CL. The data collection technique used was formative tests on reading comprehension skills and learning outcomes. Data analysis using SPSS 22 program assistance. The findings of this study indicate that the reading comprehension ability of fourth grade students of SDN 2 CL obtained from the results of the calculation of test scores distributed to 55 fourth grade students of SDN 2 CL is in the medium or high enough category. Meanwhile, the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 2 CL obtained from the calculation of the test scores for learning outcomes in science, social studies, and PPKn subjects were in the medium or high enough category. From the results of thisstudy, it can be concluded that there is a correlation orrelationship between reading comprehension ability and the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN 2 CL, which, when matched on the correlation table, is at a strong correlation level
