Author Guidelines

This document is used to guide writers who intend to upload/contribute to JGrKom.

This document contains preparations that must be considered in writing articles before being uploaded to JGrKom.

Article templates that can be used in this journal can be downloaded here.

1. Things to consider before uploading articles

Before the author uploads the article to the JGrKom Journal, please pay attention to the following:

(i).   Articles submitted to JGrKom are purely articles made by myself/in groups and are not plagiarized from other people's articles/works.

(ii).  Articles submitted to JGrKom are articles that have never been published in any media.

(iii). Willing to follow the selection process and make revisions as suggested by the reviewer/bestari partners.

2. Preparation

Article manuscripts to be uploaded to JGrKom must follow the layout set by JGrKom written in 1 column, as follows:

(i).   The title should reflect the content of the article

(ii).  Write the author and their affiliations and the email of the corresponding author under the title

(iii). Articles are written in Indonesian using MS Word 1-spaced, Calibri 12 font type, with 1-inch page margins on each side. The minimum number of pages is 8 pages.

(iv). Abstracts are written in English, with the font type Calibri 12, which consists of a maximum of 250 words with keywords consisting of 4-6 words.

(v).  Article structure (article body, written using Calibri 12 font type):

       i).    Introduction: This section consists of background issues, problems, and research objectives. The background is supported by references from previous research

       ii).    Methods: This section describes research materials, methods, procedures, data analysis

      iii).   Results and Discussion: This section contains an elaboration of research results and research contributions compared to previous studies. This section may contain tables, figures or graphs to corroborate research results.

      iv).   Conclusion: This section is the conclusion of the research conducted, written briefly in narrative form.

      v).   Authors are advised to refer to at least 3 articles from previous JGrKom.

     vi).   Example of writing a table:

(i).   References

A. Citation Guide

1. The citations used in the JGrKom Journal follow the 6th edition of the American Psychological Association (APA) publication manual.
2. Although the APA allows citing secondary references (according to X in Y), in the JGrKom Journal, the author should cite the main source unless the main source is not available.
3. Even though APA allows citing sources without an author, in the JGrKom Journal, the author should choose a reference that has an author.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
